Welcome to Legends Dance Academy

Legends provides well structured weekly dance classes that are most importantly fun whilst helping every child reach their potential. Dances are choreographed to the latest music, that's the music that your kids will love, because they hear it so often. Limited class sizes enable us to help children grow in confidence assisting them individually when required.

We are influenced by jazz, commercial and street dance styles and use elements of the UDO street dance syllabus to deliver successful rewarding classes. A typical lesson starts with a warm up routine and a dance based game (younger classes). We then learn a dance routine over a series of weeks, practice key steps and finish with a stretch at the end.

Our annual show is at the local Parr Hall theatre. All children are invited to perform and show off their hardwork, this event is very much the highlight of the dance year. Other chances to perform include at local summer carnivals. Twice annually the children are assessed on their dance skills in our merit awards and have a chance to recieve a report, certificate and medal for all their efforts. We also have a trophy which is awarded at the end of each half term to a dancer who is trying really hard.
